Statewide campaign aims to improve wellness through voluntary and organizational changes
Today, Governor Bobby Jindal and the Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals (DHH) Secretary Kathy Kliebert were joined by dozens of local supporting organizations to launch the Well-Ahead Louisiana initiative, which will designate healthy places around the state that voluntarily champion and embrace health and wellness. The program is a state-wide effort to partner with schools, businesses and other organizations in local communities to give Louisianians more control and ownership of their health.

Senior Vice President Steve Jones announced the completion of $1 billion in project investments in Louisiana over the past four years that have tripled the production capacity of the largest hydrogen pipeline network system in the world. Air Products built and brought on-stream four major hydrogen plants along the Mississippi River from Baton Rouge to the greater New Orleans area, boosting vital hydrogen supply to Louisiana’s refinery and petrochemical sectors.
